At present I on teaching and administrative responsibility, so indirectly we help about 375 patients per day/2000 per week in our department, which includes doing radiography, CT, MRI, radiological/interventional procedures, digital radiography and so on.
When I qualified with my Master of Science in Radiology with Radio-diagnosis as a special subject in December 1984, in the very same year I got my employment as a tutor technologist in the same institute.

Nowadays, this is becoming a more demanding career and there are a lot of opportunities for growth in this profession.
A radiographer/technologist of the future would be working fully independently, and will be fully involved in decision making relating to his/her profession wherever he/she works.
